SKYLER LUIGI FORD

As a Howard University architecture graduate, born in St. Petersburg, FL and currently based in Brooklyn, NY, I bring a unique perspective to my work. My upbringing in a large Christian family with 7 brothers and 3 sisters has greatly shaped my values and approach to life, influencing the themes and emotions that I explore in my art.

I am driven by my love for architecture and spatial experiences, and I am inspired by how those who appreciate small things can make humility beautiful. My work is an intimate reflection of my innermost thoughts, emotions, and experiences, expressed through an abstract geometrical compositional language. My heart and soul is poured into this creative process and through it, I hope to convey my journey and evoke relatable feelings of humility, self reflection, and gratitude to those who experience it.
